All Ages
Osteopathy is not only for women or very young children; it also encompasses care for children, teenagers, adults, seniors, and athletes. Tall, short, slim, stocky, or with a little extra weight — osteopathy is for everyone.
Infants and Teenagers

Regardless of age, your child or teenager can be seen by an osteopath. They are in a constant state of growth and development, and this period plays a crucial role in shaping an individual’s physiological and functional evolution. Supporting your child’s growth, as well as taking a preventive approach and detecting potential postural issues, are all areas where osteopathy can be beneficial.
A multidisciplinary approach is particularly important at this stage, involving collaboration with doctors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, orthoptists, speech therapists, and others. Each professional has a role to play in the patient’s care pathway.
Adults

Both women and men can experience all kinds of aches and pains.
An osteopath can work on a one-off or regular basis to relieve discomfort, prevent mobility restrictions, and reduce the risk of chronic pain developing.
Seniors

Seniors can benefit from osteopathic consultations just as much as adults who are still active. As we age, the body changes, and certain medical conditions may be present in this population. The difference compared with a standard osteopathic consultation lies in taking these conditions, as well as any medication, into account in order to adapt the techniques used.
Atypical profiles

ADHD, DYS, ASD, autistic individuals, highly sensitive or highly sensory people, neuroatypical, neurodivergent, individuals with High Intellectual Potential, gifted “zebras”… What in the name of the Lord are these?! Lots of labels, right?
These are what we call atypical profiles. These individuals require particular attention and understanding.
Osteopathy, combined with postural assessment, neuroscience, primitive reflex work, and emotional management, can be especially helpful for adults, children, and parents alike.
As an osteopath who is herself considered atypical and with her own personal journey, the level of understanding and listening offered will be all the greater.
La posturologie

During consultations at the osteopathy clinic, your osteopath includes a brief postural assessment. This helps to identify various imbalances that could affect the medium- and long-term effectiveness of osteopathic treatment.
The eyes, teeth, feet, and inner ear act as key sensors and modulators of posture. By using detection tests to identify potential deficiencies, the osteopath can refer the patient to the appropriate professional to rebalance any dysfunctional sensor, which may be causing or maintaining a dysfunctional and painful postural pattern.
Athletes

Athletes — quite a programme. Performance, goals, and targets — osteopathy can help athletes enhance both their performance and recovery.
Every sport comes with its own set of physical demands and potential aches and pains. Together, we can review your goals and put in place personalised advice and strategies to help you achieve them.
